A peaceful small town the majority of the of the year, Groznjan rouses from its lethargy during the summer season months, when it accommodates a jazz festival from the end of July through the start of August. Throughout those few summer months, Groznjan lives and breathes art and the labyrinth of its tiny streets become one outstanding stage on which are regularly interchanging the sounds of jazz and classical music, guitar, and piano, drum and vibraphone, violin and cello.
